Two More Solar Arrays Are Coming To Gabriola Island
Two more solar arrays are being built on rooftops of homes on Gabriola Island. The first is an expansion of an existing array composed of 4 modules designed by us two years ago. This array looks like this currently but we will fill the roof with 16 modules in no time.
The second array is a 16 module array composed of 300 Watt Canadian Solar monocrystalline modules using Enphase IQ6 micro-inverters. It will look like this. Some tree removal near the house is required to maximize annual energy production. We have designed this array so that the owner can easily add another two sets of rows below to make a 7.2 kW DC system (24 modules) one day.
